In April 2019, the total influx of asylum seekers (the total of first and repeated asylum applications as well as follow-up travelers) was 2.345. This means a minor decrease compared to the month March. In March the total influx was 2.423.

In February 2019, the total influx of asylum seekers (the total of first and repeated asylum applications as well as follow-up travelers) was 2.288. The total intake in January was 2.410.

In January 2019 the total asylum inflow (the total of first and repeated asylum applications as well as subsequent travelers) amounted to 2,426. In the month of December the total inflow amounted to 2,405.

The inflow of asylum seekers declined in 2018 compared to the previous year. In 2018, 30,380 asylum seekers came to our country. In 2017 there were about a thousand more (31,327)

In November 2018 the total asylum influx (the total of first and repeated asylum applications and applications for family members of asylum status holders) was 2.589. This means a minor decrease compared the month before (October: 2.891).

In October 2018 the total asylum influx (the total of first and repeated asylum applications and applications for family members of asylum status holders) was 2.909. This means a minor decrease compared to the month before (September: 2.993).

In September 2018 the total asylum influx (the total of first and repeated asylum applications and applications for family members of asylum status holders) was 2.990. In August  the total asylum influx was 2.860.

In August 2018 the total asylum influx (the total of first and repeated asylum applications and applications for family members of asylum status holders) was 2.856. In July the total asylum influx was 2.826.

In May 2018 the total asylum influx (the total of first and repeated asylum applications and applications for family members of asylum status holders) was 2.631. This means an increase compared to April (2.298).

In April 2018 the total asylum influx (the total of first and repeated asylum applications and applications for family members of asylum status holders) was 2.296. This number has hardly changed compared to March (2.309).

In March 2018 the total asylum influx (first asylum applications, repeated requests for  asylum and family members of asylum status holders) was 2,292. In comparison, a year earlier (March 2017) it totalled 3.296; the difference can be traced back to a sharp decrease in the number of family members of asylum status holders who came to the Netherlands.

In February the total asylum influx (first asylum applications, repeated requests for asylum and family members of asylum status holders) was 2.,59. As such it was - with the exception of September 2017 (2,157) - the lowest number in the past 12 months.

In the month of January 2018 the total asylum influx (the total of first and repeated asylum applications and family members of asylum status holders) was 2,400. In comparison: in January 2017 the total asylum influx was 2,687.
