Statistics and publications

Do you want to learn more about our work and our results? Then have a look at our statistics and publications. And those of other organisations in the migration system.

Monthly figures asylum

On this page, the IND publishes a monthly overview of the most important current figures relating to the asylum procedure. This provides insight into the number of asylum applications and decisions made each month.

Monthly figures on regular migration

On this page, the IND publishes figures regarding regular applications. These include applications for relatives and family, familiy reunification, study, employment, and knowledge and talent.

Asylum Trends

The IND produces a monthly report on asylum applications in the Netherlands: the asylum trends. The figures are rounded to the nearest ten and are subject to monthly adjustment; consequently, there may be minor discrepancies between the reports.

Annual Reports

We publish our annual and tertiary figures every year. Interesting, if you are curious about our results and progress of the past year and those of previous years.

Migration Radar

Do you want to know everything about migration flows of asylum seekers to Europe and the Netherlands? And the latest developments in the field of (asylum) migration? Find out more here.

Work instructions and country-specific information

In addition to laws and policies we also use other information to process applications. For example work instructions. Are you curious? Then have a look at these public documents. In them, you can find an explanation about policies and case law – or instructions for an application process. Or the current situation in a country of origin (only in Dutch available).
