From 1 January 2025, new fees will apply. Fees are the costs of applications for residency in the Netherlands. The IND adjusts these fees every year as prices and wages rise . This year, the fees will increase by 6.7 percent.
This adjustment or indexation is made using the index of the collective labour agreement (CAO) wages as calculated by Statistics Netherlands. From 1 January 2025, all new fees will be available on the page Fees: costs of an application.
A required amount is the minimum amount you must earn for the residence permit you are applying for. These required amounts are adjusted on 1 January and 1 July each year by the Minister of Social Affairs and Employment in the context of the Minimum Wage and Minimum Holiday Allowance Act (in Dutch: Wet minimumloon en minimumvakantiebijslag or WML), and published in the Government Gazette (of: National Gazette)
The tables below show the required amounts that will apply from 1 January 2025.
