Making an appointment online

Would you like to visit an IND desk? This is possible by appointment only. This way, you know exactly when it is your turn and there is no waiting time.

Please note: Unfortunately, at the moment, many appointment slots at IND desks are fully booked in the appointment planner. We are doing our best to schedule as many appointments as is possible while keeping 1.5 metre distance. We advise you to regularly check the appointment planner. Every day, more appointments come available. It is not possible to call us to make an earlier appointment. You can only make an appointment yourself online. Do you want to reschedule an appointment? Then please first cancel the other appointment you made earlier.

  • Collecting your residence document, registration card or original document

Is your residence document, registration card or original document (such as your passport or birth certificate) ready for you to pick up at an IND desk? Then the IND will send a letter to you or your sponsor. If your residence document is ready, you can also see this in My IND. After you have received a message from the IND, you can make an appointment online.

  • Biometric information (passport photo, fingerprints and signature)

You have received a letter from the IND in which it says that de IND needs your passport photo, signature and/or fingerprints in order to make your residence permit.  For this, you make an appointment online at an IND desk.
  • Residence endorsement sticker

A residence endorsement sticker is placed in your passport. This sticker is proof that you are allowed  to await your procedure in the Netherlands. It also states if you are allowed to work. You can make an appointment online to collect a residence endorsement sticker.

  • Return visa

Do you want to travel abroad when you temporarily do not have a valid residence permit? Then sometimes a return visa is needed to return to the Netherlands. You can make an appointment online to apply for a return visa.

  • DNA test

You applied for family reunification and have to demonstrate by means of documents that a family relationship exists. If these documents are not sufficient or missing through no fault of your own, the IND can send you a letter in which a DNA test is being offered.
Unfortunately, it is not possible at the moment to make an appointment (online or by phone) for a DNA-test. As soon as this will be possible again, you will read about it here.
