The IND Service Point Maastricht and the Expat Centre Maastricht Region (ECMR) are located in the Maastricht International Centre (MIC). The IND Service Point Maastricht handles all matters related to immigration.

Both expats and non-expats can make an appointment. Appointments are available every weekday.

Expats

Do you fall into one of the following categories? If so, you can make an appointment at the IND Service Point Maastricht for matters related to immigration.

  • Highly skilled migrant
  • Researcher - Directive (EU) 2016/801
  • Orientation year highly educated persons
  • Start up
  • Foreign investor
  • Family members of all aforementioned categories

Residence endorsement sticker, return visa or collecting residence permit

  • Are you coming to collect a residence permit? You can only do this if you have received a letter saying that your document is ready for collection in Maastricht.
  • Do you live in southern Limburg and are you not yet registered in the Personal Records Database (BRP) of the municipality? Schedule a combined appointment at the Maastricht International Centre (incl. registration BRP and issuance of citizen service number - BSN). For this, send an e-mail to expatcentre@maastricht.nl.
  •  Do you live in southern Limburg and you already have been registered in the BRP? Or do you live outside of southern Limburg? Schedule an appointment online by using the Maastricht International Centre appointment planner.

You can only visit the IND Service Point Maastricht by appointment.

Collecting your residence permit or identity document (type W) is only possible if you have received an invitation letter in which it says that your residence permit is in Maastricht.
