Monthly figures asylum

On this page, the IND publishes a monthly overview of the most important current figures relating to the asylum procedure. This provides insight into the number of asylum applications and decisions made each month. Since 12 June 2026, the European Migration Pact has been in effect.

The IND is working on a new structure for its accountability reports. At a later moment, the figures will be broken down according to the different procedures under the Migration Pact. Until then, applications and decisions from both before and from 12 June 2026 onward will be presented each month as a single total.

July 2026

This month, the IND made 3,480 decisions. These concern first asylum applications, repeat applications, resettlement, and side inflow (in Dutch: zij-instroom) cases.
