IND resumes deciding on asylum applications Ukrainians

The IND is going to start processing asylum applications from Ukrainians again. Read what the newly implemented country policy means for you.

Consequences of the country policy for asylum applications

Are you from Ukraine and have you applied for asylum? And are you not covered by the Temporary Protection Directive? If so, the IND may resume processing your application, as a country policy has been adopted for Ukraine.

Applications on which the IND will not make a decision

Are you covered by the Temporary Protection Directive? If so, we will not process your asylum application during the period of temporary protection.

Individual assessment

When assessing your application, the IND will consider whether, based on your circumstances, you have good reasons to fear persecution or danger in Ukraine.
