Biometrics Ukraine: pass photo, signature and fingerprints
Make an appointment in Utrecht
Only at the IND desk in Utrecht can you make an appointment to provide biometrics. You cannot go to the desk in Amsterdam or another IND-desk.
The IND will make a digital photo of you and takes your fingerprints at the desk. We also ask for your signature. Providing biometrics is free of charge.

Maak an appointment for your family
open minusTake your children under the age of 18 with you to the appointment. They will not receive a separate letter from the IND.
Do you also have a partner who needs to provide biometrics? Then make 1 appointment for up to 6 family members. You cannot make an appointment for someone who does not belong to your family.
Appropriate clothing for pass photo
We ask you not to wear clothes that are completely white or light grey. We take the photo in front of a light grey background. If you wear light clothing as well, the photo might be ruined. You can cover your head if that’s needed for your faith or philosophy of life.

Take the following documents with you to the appointment
- Your appointment confirmation or appointment code.
- Your passport, identity card or declaration of the Ukrainian embassy.
- Your (expired) sticker or card (O-document).
- Was your child born in the Netherlands and does your child not have a valid passport? Then bring a (copy of) the birth certificate or proof that your child has been registered with the municipality.

Reschedule or cancel your appointment
open minusDid you make an appointment but you cannot make it? Please, cancel your appointment. Use the link in the email you received after making the appointment. Is the appointment for multiple people? Then cancel the appointment for everyone.
Rescheduling appointment not possible
Due to technological reasons it is not possible to reschedule your appointment. Cancel your appointment and make a new appointment on another date.

You can only provide biometrics at the IND desk in Utrecht. This location is especially for people who come under the Temporary Protection Directive.
