July 2026

Residence permit for relatives and family

The IND processes the vast majority of applications for residence with family or a partner within three months. It made 3,310 decisions in these cases in July and a further 5,800 applications are pending.

Asylum family reunification

Following the introduction of the two-status system on June 12, new rules apply to family reunification.
