Total asylum influx in September 2.990

​In September 2018 the total asylum influx (the total of first and repeated asylum applications and applications for family members of asylum status holders) was 2.990. In August  the total asylum influx was 2.860.

​The total number of first asylum applications in September amounted to 2.256. In August there were 2.031. The top 3 nationalities applying for the first time consists of Syrian (276), Iran (320) and Albania (199) people.

 The number of repeated asylum applications amounted to 394. That is an increase compared to August (466). The number of family members that came to live with asylum status holders decreased from 340 to 363.

The appendices include the relocation and resettlement figures and asylum figures from Eurostat.
