Total asylum influx in April 2.296

​In April 2018 the total asylum influx (the total of first and repeated asylum applications and applications for family members of asylum status holders) was 2.296. This number has hardly changed compared to March (2.309).

Within the total number of asylum applications, the number of first asylum applications (1,448) shows a slight increase compared to March. Syrians are the largest group with 214 applications. The number of repeated asylum applications increased to 232 and the number of applications for family members of asylum status holders decreased slightly to 616 in April.
