Persons falling under the RANOV have to pay for the renewal of their residence permit

In June 2018 the permit for continued residence (non-temporary humanitarian grounds) will expire for many foreign nationals who fall under the Regulation for the Settlement of the Legacy of the Former Aliens Act (RANOV). This means that they need to apply for renewal.

Costs of an application for renewal
As of 2013 everyone has to pay for the renewal of their permit for continued residence. This application costs € 401.00. The application cannot be submitted earlier than three months before the residence permit expires.
