Now available online on ind.nl/Brexit: conditions for definite residence in the Netherlands after Brexit

Today the IND has updated its Brexit page. What is new? The conditions which apply to UK nationals and their family members to continue to live, work and study in the Netherlands after the transition period that follows a deal or no-deal Brexit are now available.

The most important additional information concerns:
- the national transition period in the event of a no-deal Brexit: the extension of Brexit from 29 March 2019 to 31 October
2019 means that at the moment, the 15-month national transition period will end on 31 January 2021.
- the invitation and application process for continued residence after Brexit: additional infographics show the next steps and
indicate when UK nationals can expect to receive an invitation letter.
- temporary residence permit for residence during the national transition period in the event of no deal: if there is no deal, the
IND will again send out temporary residence permits.

Please look out for new updates on our website.
