New income requirements for knowledge migrants and Blue Card Holders

The Minister of Social Affairs and Employment (SZW) has revised the income requirements for knowledge migrants, Blue Card Holders, key staff in group transfers and recent graduates in the Netherlands.

The income requirements for 2018 are published in the Government Gazette (Staatscourant).

 From 1 January 2019 the following wage criteria will apply: 

• Knowledge migrants from 30 years of age: €4,500

• Knowledge migrants under 30 years of age: €3,299

• Persons who have graduated in the Netherlands: €2,364

• Blue Card Holders: €5,272

The above-mentioned amounts are gross per month, exclusive of 8% holiday allowance.

 
On 1 January 2019 the IND will publish the new income requirements for all residence purposes on the income page.
