New income requirements as of 1 January

Each year on 1 January and 1 July, the standard amounts are reviewed by the Minister of Social Affairs and Employment.

The fees are indexed annually on the basis of the index of the collective labor agreement as calculated by the Central Bureau of Statistics

As of January 1, 2021, the fees will be increased by 2.7%.

Fee rates related to EU directives will also increase with effect from 1 January 2021. These rates are linked to the fee rate (with a factor of 1.3 or 5) for an identity card.

From 1 January 2021 you will find the new income requirements in this overview.
