First collection folder issued

On July 14th, the first collection folder was issued to an asylum seeker who just arrived at the Application Center in Ter Apel.

The folder allows asylum seekers to store leaflets and brochures that they receive from the moment of application. There is an infographic on the back of the folder that gives an overview on the steps in the asylum procedure.

The Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers, the Immigration and Naturalisation Service, the Repatriation and Departure Service and the Dutch Council for Refugees worked together designing this folder. The product is part of the improvement of information to asylum seekers.

Employees of the Dutch Council for Refugees and the Application Center were very impassioned about the collection folder: "Now every one can keep all his papers in one place. The infographic in the folder gives a good overview on the procedure!"
